This substack is to document and act as a repository of materials and publications related to the Walking With Infants project by Dr. Louise Platt (that me!).
I am a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School with expertise in placemaking and place experiences.
The work here grew out of my own maternity leave experiences during the UK Covid-19 lockdowns. The only option at this time was to walk! It was the only way to safely meet other mums.
On returning to work I formalised the research and developed the work you will find on these pages.
